National Night Out

In 2022 and 2023, our volunteers gave books about first responders to families.  Bilingual books were available.  In 2023, we gifted 74 books and had a great time.  Law enforcement officers served 1000 hamburgers and hotdogs.  There were lots of fire trucks, rescue boats, two law enforcement agencies, and a vintage car show.  Our community partners were also giving out information on local resources.  We are buying books now for 2024.  Why so early?  We need a lot of books at the right price.  We shop very carefully always looking for the best book at the best price.  As a non-profit, we have great opportunities to purchase in bulk at reduced prices.  Thanks to our DONORS and grantors.
